Nick Burianek, CPA

Vice President

Nick works alongside business owners and their employees to maximize financial department efficiency, improve company performance, and plan for future business transactions.

He currently advises and contributes to the development of strategic objectives to best achieve the goals of management and ownership.

Nick previously held roles in public accounting and private industries. He has held roles for numerous portfolio companies and client-owned entities, ranging from start-up and growth to legacy businesses.

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Professional Accountancy from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Nebraska.

When he is not supporting clients, he spends time traveling with his wife, walking his dogs (Dexter and Thor), golfing, and coaching high school basketball.

Justin Niederklein, CPA

Vice President

Justin’s practice focus includes working with owners of privately held businesses from their preparation of potential mergers and acquisitions through the post-closing true ups. Justin represents buyers and sellers through financial due diligence, EBITDA and working capital analyses, quality of earnings studies, and review and revision of transaction-related agreements. Justin prides himself on negotiating on behalf of his clients to ensure they achieve the best outcome available to them.

Justin also supports PBA’s financial consulting practice through outsourced Chief Financial Officer and Controllership services.

Justin previously worked in public accounting as a Senior Manager in the Transaction Advisory and Audit & Assurance departments at a Top 100 public accounting firm in Southern California.

He earned his Bachelor’s, double majoring in Accounting and Finance, and his Master’s in Professional Accountancy, from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.

When he is not supporting clients, he spends time going to concerts, traveling with his fiancé, snowboarding, and hanging out with his Bernedoodle pup, Paulie!

Seth Barkley

Consulting Manager

Seth specializes in Federal and State income tax preparation and consulting for individuals and businesses across a wide range of industries. Seth’s prior experience working in the tax department at a Top 15 public accounting firm has allowed him to gain expertise in complex areas of the tax code and corporate structuring.

Seth also supports PBA’s financial consulting practice through Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as outsourced Chief Financial Officer and Controller services.

Graduating from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Seth earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting with minors in Finance and Management and went on to complete his Master’s in Professional Accountancy. Seth’s prior experience in accounting, banking, and financial institutions has allowed him to perform many different duties ranging from tax consulting to analyzing and reviewing financial statements.

Ben Green

Consulting Manager

Ben works with owners and their accounting teams to implement strategies that improve the efficiency and use financial assets to fuel business growth. He is instrumental to PBA’s Outsourced CFO & Controller practice and to the success of his clients.

Graduating from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Ben earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting. Previously, Ben worked in the tax department at a Top 15 public accounting firm, where he had a wide range of responsibilities from creating detailed tax solutions to preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns for both individuals and corporations. Most recently, Ben became a real estate professional, gaining experience in buying and selling residential real estate. Ben’s diverse background uniquely positions him to deliver top-of-the-line accounting, finance, and tax solutions to individuals and businesses in any industry.

Matt Siedhoff, CPA

Consulting Manager

Matt Siedhoff

Matt works with businesses to develop and streamline their financial processes for a more accurate and clear financial position and forecast. Matt also works with business owners to improve and maintain financial performance and achieve their goals.

Matt’s prior experience is in public accounting as a Senior Accountant in a Top 100 CPA firm. He worked in an outsourced accounting role for clients in various industries and assisted in corporate, personal, and payroll tax services.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and spent time during his studies abroad, attending Oxford. Matt is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Nebraska.

When not working, Matt enjoys traveling, especially to Alaska, to hunt and fish.

Susan Parkinson

Consulting Associate

Susan assists business owners and their staff with a wide variety of unique needs. With a degree in Business Management and Marketing, Susan spent her early career as an Office Manager and helped to build successful teams in multiple industries including retail, marketing, and IT. Over the years she has added accounting and finance expertise to her toolkit which has made her an invaluable member of our team.

For our clients, Susan wears many hats and is willing to assist in any effort to add value to their systems. This includes being many clients’ “go to” consultant for quick projects with tight deadlines.

Susan offers extensive knowledge of administrative functions and has strong Excel and Accounting Software knowledge, which allows her to step in as a Bookkeeper/Controller while she streamlines processes and procedures with her vast prior experiences.

She enjoys being involved with teams that help manage and grow businesses for success. She enjoys working with clients in all industries.

When she is not working, Susan loves spending time with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include many outdoor activities including camping, kayaking, and hiking.

Michele Frost

As an Office Administration and Bookkeeping professional of over 20 years, Michele has a background in a variety of industries, including hospitality, non-profit, commercial real estate, and retail.

She grew up in Omaha but has spent time living in other areas like Dallas, Texas for college, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at Southern Methodist University. Most recently Michele spent eight and a half years in Colorado working in the mountain resort areas of Vail and Beaver Creek, returning to Omaha in May of 2021.

Outside of work Michele enjoys reading, yardwork, spending time at the pool in the summer, watching Huskers football and Creighton basketball with friends, and hanging out with her very spoiled cat Birdie.

Megan Heimes

Director of Marketing

With experience in both digital and traditional marketing spanning multiple industries, Megan brings agility and expertise to all her work.

Megan currently advises clients to develop robust marketing plans with in-depth strategies, meaningful objectives, and actionable tactics to support the efforts and growth of the overall business.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Megan’s previous work spans large publicly traded organizations to start-up endeavors. She brings experience in customer service, account management, corporate communication, brand strategy, project management, and lead generation. She has worked in a variety of industries including financial services, renewable energy, e-commerce, agribusiness, and non-profit.

Jim Rich


As CEO and investment committee chairman for Percipio Development Group, the investment holding company he founded, Jim’s focus is twofold — to shepherd the capital entrusted to him by his investors and to mentor his loyal team of professionals as they seek to spur business growth.

Jim has 20 years of experience in the fields of financial valuation and strategic management consulting, with a focus on market and credit risk management, and strategic asset management. Add to that 10 years of experience managing syndicated fund investments across asset classes and you’ll find there’s not much that can surprise Jim. A Navy veteran, Jim earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Tulane University and an MBA focused in finance from Babson College (Boston Campus), and just because he enjoys learning, Jim is currently working toward an M.S. in applied mathematics from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
